Forgiving and forgetting what others have done to you is a way of letting go of your self. Holding a grudge against anyone would harm yourself the most. It’s like holding a fireball aiming to throw at another person , you get the maximum damage whereas the one you are aiming at might actually not get hit at all.
Forgive and Forget, allow yourself to be happy.
